Dutchmen Manufacturing Purchases Production Facility from EverGreen

That is why we asked our Senior RV Manufacturing Correspondent to give us the skinny on Dutchmen’s recent acquisition of a production facility in Middlebury, Indiana. Here is what they found out.
Goshen, Indiana based Dutchmen, which is a division of Keystone RV Company has bought a production building from EverGreen Recreational Vehicles. Unfortunately EverGreen has reported that it has had difficulty securing needed capital.
It’s not all bad news though, in fact it’s good news for Dutchmen and Dutchmen customers. This production facility will add 100,000 square feet of extra manufacturing space, according to Dutchmen’s President, Troy James and will become the company’s seventh production facility. Dutchmen anticipates employing 150 workers at the Middlebury, Indiana facility when production commences in September.
Middlebury is home to several of the leading RV Manufacturers and the RV production talent pool is excellent and experienced. This new facility will boost Dutchmen’s abilities to meet the growing demand for their products while maintaining the quality they are known for.
What does this all mean for you? Well in a nutshell, fans of Dutchmen’s Travel Trailers and Fifth Wheel Trailers such as Aerolite, Aspen Trail, Coleman, Denali, Kodiak, Razorback, Rubicon, and Voltage brands can expect quicker delivery and expanded inventory at dealerships without sacrificing the quality construction that has made Dutchmen a household name in the RV world.
